The shortlist for the finals of the 2024 "Word Future Industries Competition" has been officially announced recently. The project titled "Research, Development, and Industrialization of High-Performance Filtration Membrane Materials for Biopharmaceuticals" submitted by Elios Biotech has stood out and successfully advanced to the finals. On May 27th, Elios Biotech will make an appearance at the final venue, competing on stage with top global innovation teams through live pitches to vie for the title of "Future Industry Star."

Themed "Gathering Stars of Innovation to Lead the Future," this year's competition spans six major fields, including Future Intelligence, Future Manufacturing, and Future Materials, encompassing 21 technological directions. It has attracted 126 overseas projects from 26 countries and regions worldwide. During the semifinal pitch session at the Asia-Pacific regional division (Hong Kong, China), Alioth Biotech received high praise from the evaluation panel for its technological leadership, team innovation capabilities, and industrial maturity.

According to the competition schedule, the finals of the 2024 "Word Future Industries Competition" will be held at the Shanghai headquarters of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) on May 27th. Thirty shortlisted projects and 25 shortlisted talents have been invited to participate in on-site pitches. Subsequently, the competition will organize a series of activities, including themed pitches and networking sessions focused on future industries. Projects and talents that have been shortlisted for the finals of the 2024 "Word Future Industries Competition" will also be included in Shanghai's Future Industry Project Database and Talent Pool, and will be eligible to receive relevant special support policies from the Shanghai municipal government, depending on specific circumstances.
